A great Fathers Day gift from a wonderful wife. I have always admired the quality and appearance of the PPk, but had never fired one until a couple of days ago when I picked up my new PPK/S. It's a welcome addition to the family.

I have one. I'd suggest trying several types of ammo for it to find ones that always feed. Mine's finicky on ammo.

The funny thing about this gift was that a couple of weeks ago I found a PPK/S magazine in a garage sale. It being 25 cents, it didn't matter that I had no PPK/S. I jokingly told my wife that I would now have to get the gun to fit it. That was a good day of treasure hunting for this sale had seven mags(5 were 1911s, 1 Glock, and this PPK/S). All seven for a grand total of $1.75. Sometimes even a blind hog can find an acorn.

That is a beautiful weapon, EYEMAN. I like the background story, as well. Its the little gestures and memories that bring two people close together. Looks like you have yourself a good one. Happy Father's day.

Mike, I like the simple elegance of that blade. Is the spring strong enough that it seems the blade wants to jump out of your hand?

No it's very fast but not so strong as to want t flip the knife backwards out of your hand. My AFOII isn't that way either. Very nice spring tension. Just enough to be extremely fast, but not too much where you could drop it..
