First shots

I'm pretty darn 100% positive I am hopelessly in love.

I took my girlfriend the range yesterday for her 1st shooting experience and wow did she do great.

I set the target up at 7 yards so she would get plenty of confidence building hits.

I started her out on the Ruger 22/45 and she was shooting a bit low (though not much).

We worked on trigger pull for a couple of minutes and then the center started disappearing out of the target. I changed the orange dot about 6 times for her.

The orange dot is an inch and a half I think.

Then after about 60 rounds I let her shoot the G26 and she shot it very low. The G17 she shot pretty well. Couldn't really get a proper grip on it cause her hands are so small.

Then about 20 more out of the 22/45 and I decided to try her on the Sig P220 in .45 caliber. I explained how the recoil would come at her and she fired off 16 rounds out of it. (I wish I had gotten pictures) Most of them went into or near the bulls eye. Something about a 5' tall cute as can be woman shooting a .45.

She liked shooting a lot and has some real potential I think. I'm so proud of her.

I'm gonna have to call pic fail on this one. You went shooting with a "cute as can be woman" and thought we wanted pics of the target? :(

:(

What he says:D

I agree, but with her knowing how to shoot now, if I put her picture online I will be her next target :) If I were lucky I'd get off with a stern pepper spraying.

I can respect that.
