Here's the only thing that needs to be changed

Property owners, including stores and restaurants, can prohibit guns by simply placing a sign at every public entrance announcing that policy.

This is incorrect. It should read as:

Property owners, including stores and restaurants, can prohibit guns legally carried by law abiding citizens by simply placing a sign at every public entrance announcing that policy.

Good read. I agree that what macville wrote would add clarity. I would also add something like " but do nothing to stop BGs from bringing a firearm into the property" Anything to wake up the sheep and educate them to the fact that all is not perfect in ba ba land. All in all, a good read.
