Springfield P9 Before and After

Having finally found a Springfield P9, I was a little disappointed in the pistol's finish when it arrived. The seller's pictures made it look better than it did in real life. The good part was the pistol shoots great. So a refinish job to make it look better was in order...I hate ugly guns.

After some research, I decided to go with Cerakote for the finish. While I was at it, all the external parts were polished and different grips installed. Below are shots of how the pistol looked when I got it, stripped for sandblasting, and the final outcome.

Ditto all the compliments, it looks like a brand new one to me. It is always cool to do it yourself and have the project turn out so well. Congrats on a fine job.
