Some buddies and I are thinking about making the trip from Lawrenceburg to Greenbriar to do a little shopping and shooting for New Years eve. Can anyone give any insight on their prices?

Never been, but I'd call and check their hours tomorrow. A lot of shops are closed or have adjusted hours for the holiday.

I feel their prices are better than most others. Plus they are generally VERy helpful.

*I am biased in my opinion of them. I have known Dennis and his family personally for over ten yeras now.

I know they are closed on the 1st and 2nd for inventory. I didn't hear anything about the hours for today (new years eve).

They're pretty fair on pricing, and usually they're willing to haggle a bit.

Their range is top notch

I really try to avoid them. I've been there twice since moving here and bought three guns. Prices on new guns are in line with everyone else and there are some deals on certain models. But the price they had on a Mauser 1934 6.35 was too low to pass up and the price on the HK marked Benelli Montefeltro was just like Santa had filled out the tag. I felt so guilty about the shotgun I went ahead and bought something new to make up the price difference (and I rarely buy new). If the staff were not so courteous, friendly and helpful, I could have gotten out of there with a much fatter wallet and not had to do all my Christmas shopping a Walmart.

I'll wait until my annual bonus hits before I make any more trips.

Guns & Leather is an example of how a good gun shop should be run. They don't screw the other guy and pass the savings on to you, like a few other places do.

I was there Saturday. Used the range. They had a HCP class going on. Tried to do a little shopping for a new handgun but it was so crowded I couldn't get up to the counter for any length of time. The guys there are great!
