It would make a great campaign commercial for his opponent in the election. Just repeat the assualt about 4 times and at the end his opponent comes on and says, Hi, I'm Joe Shmo, I'm running for Congress and I'm not a criminal thug.

What would have happened if it was a conservative Republican who did this to a couple of liberal students? The liberal media would not have forgiven him, apology or not, and he would have been run out of office.

I saw his press conference on tv and I doubt his sincerity. Looked to me like he was trying to save his job and hated having to do it.

I'm talking ideology, not lifestyle. The ideology is the socialist, Utopian, communist mixture that is still very much alive in people like Nancy Pelosi, Obama, Barney Frank, ect. The ones who came out of it in the 80's are not the problem. It is the ones who changed their lifestyles but retained their values that need to go away. It was a miserable failure then ( reason a lot of them changed ) and it is a miserable failure now.

No offense meant to former naive hippies who have seen the light.
