I don't think the form took 14 months. Mine that was purchased in Feb went pending Nov 13

Just spoke with somone from the store and they said they're starting to see stamps come in from June and July applications so it's not looking good. :(

Just spoke with somone from the store and they said they're starting to see stamps come in from June and July applications so it's not looking good. :(

I am waiting on a transfer to dealer- so far its been about a 1 1/2 months. Hopefully another month and I'll be able to submit paperwork. I'll be happy if I see my SBR this time next year.

I just had a form 3 come in that I ordered on Jan 9th!!  Took way longer than I expected but it went into problem status which added a week or two.

Received notice of approval for a Silencerco .45 Osprey.  Sent the paperwork to ATF in October, so not too bad this time @ around 6 months.  Now, if the KRISS Super V SBR would come back, all would be well.

On a related note, what kind of notification do you get when your approval comes through? Do you literally get a notice in the mail?

With a form4 the dealer should call you when the stamp arrives.  Then you go pick it up after filling out a 4473 like other gun purchases.

I don't keep track of the approvals or pendings.  Just when I pay my Class III dealer.  Perhaps the Feds have hired a couple new agents?
