You in the field of Insurance Sales?

No I don't sell insurance. The point I was trying to make was that Beatty's character was more afraid of tarnishing his reputation because of being raped than of the act itself...No big deal it's just a movie :)

I've lived here all my life but consider myself more southern than northern since I was raised by parents who grew up during the depression in West Virginia. My mom after over 40 years up here never lost her drawl.

Michigan is quite beautiful all over as long as you stay out of the big cities especially Detroit. I've always thought that I would retire to northern Michigan but as I get older, I don't look forward to 3 months a year with snow up to my ass. Makes Tennessee and western North Carolina looking better all the time.

migunowners.org is a real good forum if you want to here from some of the more conservative side of us northerners! LOL

:D

And we have better smilies too, they have guns!

For instance, there are vast swaths of Michigan that deserve to be honorary southerners! Down around Coldwater and Quincy, Gods country fer sure! Then up thru Battle Creek and into the north west. Never got a chance to visit eastern MI.

Hi Billetproof

Wife's family hails from MI. She took me on a 'grand tour' a few years ago. Beautiful territory.

She likes lighthouses, and we visited lots of lighthouses on the coast.

With the hard winters, agriculture in northern MI was interesting. That long peninsula east of Traverse City. With grape orchards and various fruit farms. Peaches even. Must be some rugged peaches compared to the GA trees!
