Speer Gold dot FINALLY!

I've been trying to find Gold Dot +p for the G19 for weeks now and finally came across some on a website. It's actually a pretty good price too. After shipping I got 100 rds of 124 +p for $70. I feel like .70 a round is pretty good for quality defensive ammo. Isn't it???

Sadly, now-a-days, I have to hang my head and say "yes"... :hat:

I'm too young and I have only been shooting a few months so I don't really know what the good prices used to be(nor do I want to know :hat:)

Oh, and I know Glocks eat anything, so do you guys think I need to test fire many of these to make sure they are reliable????? If so, how many?

At least a hundred. :shake:

(I'm more than half serious, though.)

Sounds like a decent deal to me, especially if it is what you've been looking for. Kind of like OS's half serious remark though, I'd certainly fire a bunch through it if you have not already done so, just to be sure. I'm a little funny when it comes to self defense ammo though. Can't get it out of my head the manner it which I might have to use it, as a last resort. I try to fire at least the round that has been chambered in my EDC when going to the range with the theory that I replace all the rounds in the mag every year or so, but that's just me.

Unfortunately, it has come down to "buy it where you find it, when you can get it" in regards to SD ammo.

If you ever in real need for something along those lines, let me know. I have ways...

I bought Corbon DPX for my Glock 33. Solid copper bullets.... $2 a piece. Makes me not want to shoot anybody...it's so expensive!

SD ammo is high. . . Im glad I loaded up in mid 2008. . .at that time I bought about 1500 rounds of +p+ federal 9bple at just under $15.00 per box

Recently bought 2 boxes of Golden Saber at $ 31.99 a box of 25,so I would say thats a pretty reasonable price.By the time a person finds the ammo of choice and pays shipping(sometimes as much as another box of ammo).
