Thread protector when shooting

The problem with most methods of securing it is that they melt/loosen under high heat. Red or blue Loc-Tite or teflon tape will do that.

If you slow fire, maybe blue loc-tite will work. You do not want to use red or purple. Red is "permanent" and the purple is for very lite use.

If you can find high heat tape it "might" work.

Otherwise wear nomex gloves and check it periodically.

Fast attach suppressors were not designed for continuous fire. Permanent ones such as the one on the MP5-SD and Sten/Sterling ones are.

Just the nature of the beast on pistols.
