Ooh, I actually had some bacon tonight!! It was great. I'm in NYC and ate here with most of my family. Got the cod, and it came with a mix of potatoes, lettuce, and ... bacon. We checked out the Brooklyn Bridge while we ate.

watching Stanley Cup game 6.

When we lived up by Chicago we always followed the Blackhawks once the playoffs started. I am not pretending I am a hockey fan anymore but if the Hawks hold on to win this series it will be bigger than when the Bears won the Super Bowl. I am not so sure that if the Cubs won a world series it would be bigger than this. It would be a fun time to be in Chicago.

When I worked at the radio station, a guy from Baconnaise sent us a lot of his products to try on air. We tried the baconnaise live on air and almost threw up. The bacon salt isn't horrible but you have to be very conservative when sprinkling it. The bacon flavored chap stick was just nasty!
