I happen to have a SIG sight tool (MGW brand) that I could easily be persuaded to sell. It's been used... once maybe. They sell for about $120 shipped. I'd sell it for about $80.

I use pine. Be careful though...It's prone to split.

Probably...did a set out of Cedar for a Titan .25 acp...but that was years ago.

Wonder why a generic sight pusher could not be made, that would be adjustable to work on most rifles and pistols? If I ever get around to acquiring a milling machine, that is one of the potential projects.

Wood or brass punches, and machinist hammers with brass-plastic-rubber heads. Yeah those work but are dangerous in the hands of a klutz. Was drifting the sight on a brand new shiny Henry .357 lever rifle, had the nylon-head hammer and brass punch, missed the punch with the hammer and put a nasty ding in the spotless beautiful new walnut stock. Ouch. Only missed once. Once was all it took.

There is a pretty good universal sight pusher for sale on midway. I am always surprised that more people don't know about it. The name is

B & J Machine Model 500 Universal Front and Rear Sight Tool

I have used it on many various handguns from 1911s to Sigs to Glocks. It does a decent job. One needs to be careful to prevent marring but it works.

I had the B&J 500 for a while. Sent it back. Its strength and weaknesses lie in its flexibility.

Looks like a useful tool. The 50 reviews on that Midway page seem almost universally positive.
