Pimpin the G17

I never plan on carrying my G17 so for fun I decided to pimp it a bit and see how well add on parts worked on a Glock.

I got a ghost 3.5 pound trigger kit off ebay and a stainless steel recoil rod off Lone Wolf and replaced them using a video off youtube. Easy as pie and I can totally strip a Glock now.

Took it to the range and the 1st mag had a misfire (I'm thinking that is was a light strike or bad ammo). After that 100 flawless rounds and it shoots sweet.

The trigger isn't as light as I thought but it engages more forward than the old trigger and is a bit more crisp. All in all I really like it.

I'd post pics but it's a Gen G17 that looks just like any other but it's mine.

Funny

Used g17 $399

Ghost trigger kit $40

Stainless steel recoil rod $35.00

Pimping your own g17 and having it still work $priceless

Anybody know if they make one of those cool slide back-plate covers that says "hey a**hole, hope this stupid back-plate is distracting you from looking at the sights 'cause you're an idiot."?
