So I was at the Morristown Gunshow over the weekend

While there I saw a guy selling an ACOG for $750.

Problem was it was 1x and had batteries for the red dot.

I smiled and jokingly told him that I didn't know Trijicon made ACOG's that took batteries, I did of course. His response that it was an early one that used batteries. He went on to saw he bought it a long time ago and that it was in fact a real ACOG.

I kind of laughed and said they never made a battery operated ACOG nor did the make a 1x red dot ACOG. He was adament about the fact it was a real Trijicon product, which it wasn't. Now maybe he got screwed and is trying to recoup some of his loses but I think it ought to be criminal for people to pass of clones as the real deal.

Problem with this is someone going to plop down a ton of their hard earned money for a ACLONE that isn't worth $100. I know you should research but some people accept what people say as the truth.

Other than that it was a typical show just on a smaller scale. No real deals and numerous outrageously priced items.

I normally wouldn't have went to such a small show but I was trying to sell my Mossberg 590.

None at all.

As a matter of fact I still haven't received what I was promised by Rex, the owner of RK Shows.

I left a message for him to call but I am begining to wonder if he was just telling me what I wanted to hear.
