I found a tar ball.

I am in Gulf Shores AL and found this on the beach today. There are quite a few of them that have washed up on the beach. It smells like kerosene. The beaches are open and fishing boats are still going out. No big "gobs" of oil on the beaches here yet.

My brother was there last week and there was none of it. I guess he was lucky.

We are in Cape San Blas, just south of Mexico Beach which is about 35 miles south of Panama City. No oil here. Big storm though. Heavy rain, lots of wind and lightening/thunder.

Had some friends arrive @ GS yesterday and they found small pools of oil on the beach...

I found things like that in Boca Raton Florida back in 1979. Figured it was from a boat.

I lived in Boca for about 7 years. Beach front hotels had kerosene available for getting tar off of your feet when you came back from the beach.

Yeah, weird wasn't it?

We lived in College Park off Glades Rd. That anywhere near where you were?

I was a little further west than that, kind of close to yamato and 441

Boca South Beach was great, and Red Reef was pretty nice too. Better looking hotties at Red Reef, more peace at South Beach

Those were good days. I couldn't drive myself then so I had to go with who ever was going to any beach. There was some State Park there that my folks always took us to. Not as many young people there but still nice beaches. Tar balls and jelly fish were a common thing.

that would have been Red Reef. Boca South Beach is the next one south going down A1A

And I remember seeing jelly fish wash up all the time. Best thing I found washed up was a cooler with about ten beers still in it.

Also found some bikini bottoms floating around one day, but sadly enough never saw the girl who lost them, LOL

Nope, just don't need to hear MF 50 times and think it's classified as music. It's NSFRW ;)

I'm sorry, but listening to T-Pain going "MF" just in the background as harmony.... is HILARIOUS!

You should put it in a box of brownie bites and see if the wifey will eat it ;)
