Took the wife to work since I had a invite to play at the range today. Got to try out a Savage Arms 110 BA in .300 Win Mag.

Sweet shooting rifle.

Got no sleep cause I knew my FIL, who was going to help me work on the house, would make me wake up early. I told him no earlier than 8 but 9 was better. My internal clock got me up at 7:55 and within minutes he calls to tell me to bring a 4-way lug wrench for his busted down Dodge truck tire. He was on the soft shoulder trying to jack it up and couldn't. Got him back on some concrete, tire off, spare was needing air, used a Husky compressor I found on the side of the road and rebuilt for $16! Made us late to work but we got right on it so he could leave at 4. Dragged my wife into helping me finish in another 3 hours. She didn't want to do it and it reminded me of "League Of Their Own" with Tom Hanks.

"Are you crying? Are you crying? ARE YOU CRYING? There's no crying! THERE'S NO CRYING IN ROOFING! And do you know why? Because there's no crying in roofing. THERE'S NO CRYING IN ROOFING! No crying!"

Luckily, no tears were shed, but I expected it.

I've done a lot of roofing, and I completely understand why the pros drink so much. Kills the bodypains.
