I'm heading out to a Sounds game tonight with some friends who don't know I carry. Is greer stadium a no go for carrying? I have an OWB holstered g23 or a pocket kel tec p3at I was thinking of carrying. They don't search or anything and I don't have the ticket yet to check for info about it.

I'm guessing its a no-go, but does anyone know for sure?

I'm not sure how this would work out... YET. They sell beer and liquor for onsite consumption, so I am to assume it is not legal to carry there.... YET.

IANAL, I just play one on the internet.

Hrmm. Good point about the alcohol sales there. Guessing I probably shouldn't. I'll err on the side of caution.

I am of the opinion it will be posted... So, looks like it stays in the car.

It is a Metro Park facility, and they serve alcohol...

Isn't it Nashville Metro Government property? If it is, then you're at "NEGATIVE" for launch.

If you're sitting in the stands, the now old law (pre-SB3012) only prohibits carrying INSIDE a BUILDING where alcohol is served by the drink. It doesn't cover places outdoors.

Either way, SB3012 became law last night (some question as to whether carry is legal right away or Monday/Tuesday when the Sec of State issues a public charter) Either way I suspect you'd have no problems carrying at Greer unless it's posted.
