Fiocchi Ammo; is it a deal or what?

I'm looking for opinions on Fiocchi JHP ammo. I've gone through a few boxes of their JHP that I bought from Midwayusa.com. It uses a Hornady XTP bullet, it's made in the USA (Missouri) and I can't figure out why it's such a good deal compared to Gold Dots, Golden Sabers and others. I currently have Gold Dots in one of my carry 9mms and Fiocchi in my others. Can anyone more experienced tell me why I should buy more Gold Dots (or Hornady's) instead of just getting this stuff and spending the extra money on Wally-World practice ammo?

Everything I have ever heard about Fiocchi is good to great.

9mm. Price is 24-25 bucks per 50 depending on weight.

That sounds like an even better deal. This stuff works great for me and its seems like a great way to fire the Hornady XTP projectile at a great price.

Never had any probs with any flavor of Fiocchi.

After test shooting a bunch, have stashed some in .357 mag, .223, and 12 gauge buck.

If I can't get Critical Defense, I use Fiocchi w/XTPs. 9mm and .380. The last bunch I got used Starline Ni-brass. Really good stuff, IMHO.

There were some problems with their .380 and the LCP, but that's all i've heard about. I've shot a bunch of their .223, and it's great

I have Fiocchi JHP's in my XD45. Thankfully I have no first hand experience with them other than they shoot straight and go bang everytime. They are scary looking, but then it is a .45

I use Fiochhi 230gr Extrema in my .45acp.Also 158gr Extrema in my .357 Mag.I have read somewhere that testing on the Hornady XTP bullet was very favorable with good penetration and expansion was also good.I know in my 45,s it seems pretty potent.
