I'm feeling inadequate with my list:

.22LR

30/06

7.62x39

.223/5.56

12ga

20ga

Pretty wimpy list but it used to include .300 Ultra mag, until I decided that I probably wasn't gonna make that Montana Elk Hunt and got rid of it.

Some of these are just hanging around from rifles that I either don't have (yet) or sold and still have some rounds for . . .

The majority of those calibers are for 3 rifles . . . the .303 and .30-06 are next on the list to pick up, though. I've gotten back into my US/British surplus kick.

Not sad at all. I think that's where 99.99999% of all of us started. I love my .22's, and they are probably shot more than any of my other rifles, simply for the fact that my 9 year old son can shoot for hours with no soreness associated with recoil.

How do ya like that 218? I've always been curious about 'em.

It's a 43 Winchester that is a shooter and not a collector. I like it. It is a bit more than a 22 hornet. Brass is expensive, and I had to make up a case trim guage for it. I recently passed on a 92 Winchester in 218 bee. I wish I'd have brought it home.

All i have is the old .22lr

I didn't realize how sad that is until i read this thread.

Not sad. If I only had one caliber, that would be it.
