I've always wondered about IFOs (Idiots From Ohio) that mosey along the passing lane at 55mph on a 70mph zone... well, this explains a lot:

Court Ruling Allows Cops To Issue Speeding Tickets Based On "Estimates"

The Ohio Supreme Court ruled police officers can issue tickets based on visual estimates of a motorist's speed. If you live in Ohio and pissed off a cop recently we recommend fixing that.

I wonder if a defendant can estimate the cop was not there to estimate his speed?

I learned one thing while living in Michigan (other than socialism is a complete failure) and that is you should never drive through Ohio with Michigan tags. You will get a ticket for being a suspected Michigander in Ohio. You can get out of getting the ticket by having a license from another state though... hehehe
