What did you do this Memorial Day?

My wife and I took the boys to Cincinatti for a Reds game. While there, we also watched Shrek: The Final Chapter, and also watched a Frontier League baseball game between the Florence Freedom and the Evansville something or anothers. When the National Anthem was sung in Cincinatti, I don't think there was a dry eye in the stadium.

Went to the cemetary. A retired Army Master Sargent did the "Lone buglar" and some history stories. Very moving.

My Grandfather (WW1) and my Father-in-law (WW2) are buried there.

My wife, mother-in-law and my broth-in-law who I was stationed on the USS Nashville LPD-13 with all paid respect to our fallen brothers and sisters. Taps always brings a tear to my eye.

Went camping at Montgomery Bell State Park and packed up Monday afternoon.
