Ohio Dairy Farm Investigation | Mercy For Animals

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Graphic video released to The Associated Press by an animal welfare group shows workers at an Ohio dairy farm beating cows with crowbars, stabbing them with pitchforks and punching them in their heads.

The Chicago-based nonprofit group Mercy For Animals says the video was recorded in an undercover investigation at Conklin Dairy Farms Inc.

The Plain City, Ohio-based dairy farm hasn't responded to a request for comment left Tuesday.

Mercy For Animals publicizes what it calls cruel practices in the dairy, meat and egg industries and promotes a vegan diet.

The video shows workers holding newborn calves down and stomping on their heads. It also shows one worker wiring a cow's nose to a metal bar near the ground and repeatedly beating it with a bar while it bleeds.

I read an article once where PETA pays people to do this and they film it. Could this be the same tactic? Regardless, it's pretty disgusting and any person who does these things to animals should be shot. Period.

I'm afraid. The person filming that was standing right next to the perp. If I was the filmer standing next to the guy with the pitchfork, it would be sticking in the guy.

I bet you're right- a false flag op. Who would ALLOW someone to film them doing that? You would have to be EXTREMELY stupid to think that might be a cool thing to do...

Of course, I COULD be wrong... let's see if charges are filed and folks go to jail- and just who they really are.

Ok, I made myself watch it all. I was right- he IS extremely stupid, AND needs to be kicked to death right now- by me, if possible.

This, however, is NOT indicative of normal practices ANYWHERE, and is decidedly propaganda.
