Is there gonna be a June show?

I was at Hero Gear about a month ago and I think I remember them saying they couldn't get the June show put together as planned. Your best bet would be to call Hero Gear and find out. I haven't followed up on it because I'm not driving to Winchester for round #2 of Guns and Gear even if they put one together.

If the September one is in TN, Winchester or no Winchester, I will do my best to be there. The first one rocked.

If you are looking for a venue ... hm. I have a few connections at Vanderbilt. Maybe if I grease some palms they will let us have it in Memorial Gym.

This is too bad. I hope they find a better venue. I hope it is in Nashville, but since they are foolishly closing the Fair Grounds, I have no idea where they could hold it here...

Looks like they would have to move it to Chattanooga.

I would make the trip, Winchester or no Winchester... Knoxville, Chattanooga, or even Memphis. I wouldn't mind the drive, honestly, as it's the only show that I'd attend. The rest just plain suck.

I'd make the trip to just about anywhere in Middle TN. I'm not so sure that I would travel to Knox, Chat or east TN though.

The June date is a bust.

We are still committed to putting on a totally kickass event, one that is very different than what is currently offered.

Its obvious that we need to find a better venue, in a larger metro area.

We are looking for one that provides the space and amenities we need, while keeping an eye on overhead.

I want to get this project fired up as quickly as possible, but as my old Sergeant Major said; "...don't rush to failure..."

*I have several TGO members actively looking for "the perfect place" for us to move the Expo to.

Stay tuned.

You can always have it at my house. I'll have to check with CENTCOM, but I think she'll go along with it. There's plenty of room. Three bathrooms. I'll even grill some burgers for everyone.

Thanks for the update Joe. I will definitely attend whenever/wherever another one happens and would also be available to help out again if needed and if you guys ask me back

Yeah I couldn't read the recent threads about the Expo Center show without thinking of how much Joe and David trusted the patrons of the Gun And Gear Expo....and apparently well placed trust as we had not a single incident.

Instead of a place, how about places? Three or 4 venues in rotation. One each around Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga. How about somewhere in between like Crossville, they have a couple of good venues.
