ok i went back and read everything. i think the stag will be fine for this build. i plan on doing another build later in the year with a 20 or 24" barrel and then Ill go with BCM

I have a complete Stag and a complete Colt. Stag shoots as good and as accurate as the Colt.

nope. i called JSE yesterday to find out whats wrong and my flash suppressor wasnt in stock and I guess they didnt feel the need to inform me even when they didnt know how long it would take to come in. I had em change it out to the YHM 28A. the guy there was really helpful and said he would try to have it built either yesterday or monday and have it shipped no latter than tuesday. shipping then takes 2-5 days and since they are in missouri I wanna say Ill have it thursday or friday.

I have a Double Star lower, and a half dozen or so PMAGS. Mine all drop out of the gun when I hit the button. Wasn't the case when I first assembled the lower. I was one turn too tight on the mag release button.

I plan on it Sunday LOL. Here is a parts list of the JSE Surplus upper. Everything but the YHM flash suppressor and handguard is standard.

Yea went in pretty easy. Had trouble with the selector switch, but just had to take out the hammer and install the selector first. Is that the Eotech 511? Looks like the same one I have.

I had a 556 that I bought intending to swap out the 511, but I liked it better so I kept it.

i wanted the 512 which i think uses the AA batteries but the deal on this one was too good to pass up
