Picked up my new DW V-Bob today! I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet and I'm going out of town for a week tomorrow but will be sure to give it a thorough workout when I return! :panic: The fit and finish on the gun is very good, I hope this is an indication of how good the gun is in general.

Thank you and I say go for it!! ;)

What is a DW V-Bob? Please excuse my ignorance. My 1911 knowledge is limited.
The Dan Wesson Valor model with a bobtailed(angled at the bottom rear) grip.

Yes, when money permits. I have several 45's now. Some compact forms of various manufacture; and a Springer LW Operator, a glock 30, and others. But bil got a Kimber Raptor set. a commander and fs to go with his new Raptor Ford truck. Fell in love with the full size immediately. I shot better with it than my own guns that day. But couldn't talk him into letting me keep it.:screwy:

Just my luck.

Haha wow, now all he needs is a Yamaha Raptor fourwheeler and he'll be all set lol! I too have a Glock 30 that I've been using for my EDC, they're great little guns. Good luck with getting yours soon!

Read the title of the post, and immediately had the Simpson's character, Maude Flander's voice saying,"Won't anyone think of the children?!"

That is a very nice 1911...

Man I do need to get some sleep.

Thanks for the comments guys! She is a shooter! So far I've put ~300 flawless rounds through her and enjoyed the heck out of it.
