Again, PER the SCOTUS, Constitution TRUMPS treaties... O can sign a treaty saying whatever it wants to say, if it is against the Constitution, it will NOT APPLY to the citizens of the U.S.

I think the fellow who wrote the article needs a Civics class...

Paragraph 2, Article VI of the U.S. Constitution states:

"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contray notwithstanding."

I understand this to mean that properly approved treaties are a part of the "... Law of the Land;...". Treaties require 2/3 concurrence of the Senate present (Article II, Section 2, paragraph 2).

It is a very real treaty.

But, as said before. 2/3 majority needed in senate to pass. That will never happen.
