I remember some libertarian group named NH as the most free state or something. NH is the only state that does not have a state income tax or a sales tax. They are generally alot more sensible when it comes to other things too.

Well, like TN, NH does have state income tax on dividends and interest.

Alaska has no state income tax of any kind or sales tax. It's really the only one.
