So I was talking to someone earlier and he was telling that I should xxxx because it is a "fraction of the price" of xxxxx. And I got to thinking about it and started an argument with him.

This phrase is stupid. 1/1 is still a fraction but would imply that they are the same cost. 2/1 means that it is twice the price but its still represented in a fraction.

I have no idea where I am going with this but it's just one of those things that kinda gets to me sometimes. Like saying "I could care less" when you really mean "I couldn't care less."

Totally with you on the "couldn't care less" tip, but the first part seems an incomplete story.

Maybe some don't understand the meaning of "care." Had a girlfriend in H.S. that always said, "I don't give a care." Now that's WTH?!

Those don't have to be represented as fractions, and come from manipilating real fractions. Don't worry... be happy :meh:

If he has been drinking can he continue speaking gibberish? And what language is gibberish anyway? Is there a Rosetta Stone program for it?
