I'm looking at an AMD65 Hungarian AK

enlighten me, if you please. I don't know that much about AKs, how does this one vary from say, a Norinco (I've only messed with Chinese and once ran away from a Bulgarian AKM). Is it 7.62x39?

The AMD-65 I believe, was designed as a Hungarian tankers weapon. It is very small, even with a 16" barrel for the states. It is a 7.62x39, and most come with a 20 round mag. It takes some practice in order to make efficient mag changes with the 30 rounders because of the foregrip.

The AMD65 also has a side folding wire stock, which makes it more light weight. It comes with two pistol grips, rear and front. A picture is worth a 1000 words (not as spectacular as Wareagles!)...
