....rear ended by an illegal. You can't make this **** up.

Hey, Rep. Moran, how do you say “karma” in Spanish?

Michael Moran of Brighton is a staunch supporter of the “sanctuary” approach to illegal immigration we have here in Massachusetts. He voted against the Perry amendment that would require applicants for state benefits to prove they’re here legally. Moran voted for subsidized college tuition for illegals, too.

It’s safe to say that no Massachusetts politician has done more to make illegal immigrants feel welcome. Illegal immigrants like 27-year-old Isaias Naranjo, who (ahem) “met” Moran on the streets of Brighton last week.

According to Fox 25, Naranjo was driving 60 mph when he slammed his car into Moran’s. Naranjo was also drunk, driving without a license and - in an only-in-Massachusetts twist - was wearing a “Mexican costume” at the time.

Now if Naranjo were just another Massachusetts taxpayer, he would be in some serious guacamole. But Fox reports that when police tried to explain the seriousness of his situation, he just laughed.

“Nothing is going to happen to me, man,” Naranjo told the cops. That’s because he was “going back to my home country, Mexico.”

It's good that Mr. Moron gets to learn first hand why our country needs to crack down on illegal immigrants instead of welcoming them. They can't hardly be charged for breaking any laws of this country since they are here illegally, and when they do so they simply get a free trip back home. Heck, being as this guy had the "Mexican costume" on at the time, I would say that free trip home is what he was looking for anyway, and probably crashed his car into Moron on purpose.

The argument could go either way though, because people like Moron could go with the argument that giving them amnesty would then allow them to be charged when they break our laws.

Why can't they be charged for a crime? Go down to

Mexico and commit a crime and see what happens.

Isn't there a law against our government not upholding

our laws? Something along the lines of treason? If the

federal government doesn't protect the borders, which

is a primary reason for it's existence, something needs

to change.

Federal law prescribes 11/29 for being in the country illegally after a deportation. Don't know what it after subsequent deportations.

Probably never enforced anyway, so doesn't much matter.

Federal law does, but no in most cases it doesn't get enforced. As was mentioned the other day local LEO's can't be the ones to arrest them according to what someone else said, they must wait for some form of immigration officer, and most choose not to waste the time from what I've seen.
