Wasn't sure if this was the right spot to put this, feel free to move it if there's a better place.

Anyways, watch out for Sarco, for those who don't know, they carry parts and accessories for guns. I was going to order a stock set for an enfield I picked up at the sparta show last week, so I got on their website, found what I wanted, and ordered it. Right off the bat I had issues, it said my billing address was wrong, and declined my purchase. I knew I had it right so I figured it must have just been an issue with their system, and tried it again, and again was declined for the same reason. So after 16 hours of trying to contact their company (their site crashed the next morning, and their phones went down at the same time apparently) I finally got someone on the phone, but by this time I had already contacted two other companys, and found 2 other sets, so I was just looking for details. I opted against Sarco's. Well, low and behold, when I went to walmart later in the day, my debit card got declined. So I go to the bank, turns out, despite the fact they declined my purchases, they still charged my account, both times! So what I had was $116 worth of charges, for parts I didn't even want, and wasn't getting! Not only that, I was only planning to order one, so this actually overdrew my account, luckily I got there just under the wire for the $25 overdraft fee. (By the way, I checked my billing address too while I was there, and I did have it right). So I called Sarco, and asked them why I was being charged for something I didn't even buy, and his response was that they put a 5 day hold on your account if you get declined! Why in the heck would anyone ever need to to put a 5 day hold on funds, when the person never even actually placed an order?!? On top of that, they guy I asked on the phone about it, was actually quite rude about it, and upon sending a complaint to their customer service department, they never even bothered to reply. Needless to say, I will NOT be doing business with this company again, and if anyone chooses to, I would really keep an eye on them!

Yeah, I tried to buy a C&R gun from them once. When I called to place the order, they told me that my C&R was not on file with them. I informed them that I had sent in about 8 months prior and they said that they only keep them on file for 6 months, then destroy them. WTF?? I figured they didn't want my business too bad and decided against the purchase.

I've had mixed experiences with them. You can get some pretty smokin deals with them now and then, but you just need to go into it expecting the unexpected. You may end up with a real deal, you may not. I wouldn't buy something from them knowing I need it next week or that I can get elsewhere for within $5 of the price, but if I saw a deal on something I can't get elsewhere, I'd roll the dice.
