Screw em. Don't go to Mexico, it's that easy. I would image alot of the Mexican border cities rely on tourism, so if they don't want us, that's their problem.

There aint nobody trying to slip into mexico except drug runners going home, coyotes going back for more unfortunate pilgrims, and a few other assorted varmits. No one is trying to break into mexico; just like no one is trying to break into north korea.

My guess is that they will have a long wait to see anybody from AZ crossing the border into old mexico. Looks like a bunch of chumps to me. They could save some dollars on signs and watching the border.

Update from Michelle Malkin:

I just called and spoke to a man from the Mexican tourism board in Sonora.

Apparently, the Arizona Republic cut off half the ad. It was supposed to say …looking for people from Arizona who want to have fun”

There are also supposed to be families having fun reflected in the glasses. The A. Republic is supposed to print corrections today and tomorrow.

By the way, they aren’t mad about Arizona’s law. They want the drugs and illegals to stop too. He said the drug and illegals trade are hurting them badly.

I suggested they call Fox News and ask to come on to talk about it. He wrote it down and said he is going to tell his boss. We’ll see.

The state of Sonora has actually been pretty supportive of the efforts to stop illegals and drugs. Their governor has a history of going against the rest of Mexico.

We’ll see, as I said. Maybe he was telling me the truth. He seemed upset and he loves the US. He went to school in VT.

Sounds like CYA to me...I'm not sure what kind of 'fun people' the forward observer dude is looking for...

The fun isn't in Sonora...it's in Cozumel. It's a crying shame that the best reef and shelf diving within a day's travel from the central US is controlled by a bunch of elected gangsters. It's only a matter of time till the cartels work their way down and start wrecking everything there as well.
