Anybody ever been there. Wife and kids are going to Va Memorial Day Weekend and my Father and I may take a trip to Fredericksburg Sunday to go to it. I am wondering if concealed carry is allowed there??? they are having an exhibit of Hollywood guns that should be pretty cool.

I've been and must say that its an amazing site to see. They have so many things to see and best of all they provide you with the history surrounding most every firearm there. You can't turn your head without something interesting catching your eye. Its the epitomy of a supreme gun collection. Although I can't speak personally about carry because I flew into the area and didn't have a chance to carry---I can't imagine the NRA not allowing you to carry legally on their premises. Its something that I"m glad I saw when I was in the area and it was genuinely interesting. My wife seemed to just see "guns everywhere", but for someone like you and I, who understands the history and has the interest, there is nothing quite like it on display anywhere else. Go check it out!

+1 I was there about month and a half ago... Its a total must see. Gave me a great historical perspective of firearms and the gift shop wasn't too bad either. I'm pretty sure it all CCW/OC in VA as long as you've got your documents. The NRA range is right there too, great range!, a bit anal but very clean and lit.

It is a must see, as mentioned above you can't turn your head without seeing something different.

Was there recently. It's great. Too bad it was a couple of weeks before they opened the new Hollywood guns section.

I think carry's no problem, although I didn't myself.

It's a worthwhile visit.
