Wish I was in town for that. Would love to meet people. Check and see if the police range is being used that day. There is a grill up there but only the one table. we helped him put the other 2 out last week and were joking about a grill then.

Didn't read every post in this thread, and don't want to hi-jack it, but ...

How is Owl Hollow doing? I was a member there for a dozen or so years before I transferred to Atlanta eleven years ago. I still have all the pin-on buttons you used to get with the year on them.

Any pictures of the range as it looks these days would be appreciated. I enjoyed the time spent there.

AGREED!! Charlie runs the range very well. It is clean and pretty well kept. I've had some good times there. In fact, I need to re-up my dues. Hope I can make the shoot on the 20th. Sounds like fun.

By the way, CHMR stands for Charlie Hafner Memorial Range after his father who started it years ago. The Owl Hollow bunch dropped the ball and Charlie picked it back up to make it work.

This shoot is only to let us meet each other. Members are covered non members pay $5 Charlie. Usually he wants one of us to keep up with the visitor fees & give it to all at once.

Wow, So many bad calendar watchers. LOL. My wife and I showed up to shoot with XD and family and had a blast. No pun intended. Too bad the rest of you couldnt make it.
