Can't get to TGO at work, and now having finally moved to Dickson, I can't get Comcast out to the house for at least a week.

I'm at Dunkin Donuts now getting my TGO fix, but they're gonna kick me out for the night soon!

I recall driving by right after they opened the Dunkin Donuts in Smyrna. They had the big "Grand Opening" banners out, and as I was driving by, I noticed several police cars in the lot, and an officer holding the door open for someone. :popcorn: Good coffee, too.

Besides, have you been to Dickson?

I get to Dickson every once in a while for work. I'm well aware the DPD has bigger things to worry about than me. Might need to check in on the Co-op.

Last place I lived we had 10meg svc. that was costing me $39 a month. My service went down and my laptop picked up a nearby 20meg wireless that was trespassing in my house! Called charter that afternoon and cancelled my service! A lot faster & WAY cheaper!

Worked great for the next few weeks till we moved.

I have the occasional trespasser on mine also. It dont happen much and I am pretty sure I know which neighbor it is. And that would be a very elderly lady across the street.

It only happens when one of her daughters or friends ( I have no idea) comes to visit her. It seems from the traffic that someone is always staying with her. This particular girl only comes about one a week. But sure enough every time my system slows down she is there. If it becomes a serious problem I will password the wireless. I do keep all file sharing turned off anyway.

For now I dont mind if the young lady does use my access while she is helping to care for the older lady. Now, if she was to "move in" over there that would be a whole nuter ball game. It really only slows me down when the wife is on the desktop machine and that darn facebook with all her friends and the girl is on at the same time.

Yeah... I can understand that. IDK, I'm a pretty avid gamer and I hate lag, so I keep mine all to myself. Grant it, I am streaming Pandora, TGO, Facebook and XBOX Live at the same time... but it's all smooth

Yes. yes we can! Just give me another weekend or so to try to get the house settled enough to find stuff when I need it, then we can do it!

In the meantime I think I need to drive around lookin' fer some wireless....
