Hail Storm

These are videos of a recent hail storm in Oklahoma City. May 16, 2010.

This first video starts to get good (or bad) at roughly 1:00-1:15

This shows damage to the vehicle of a local news crew.

That news man is a wuss! If that was Jim Cantore he would be standing out in it! Not hiding in the vehicle pissing in his pants!

Hubby was in OKC when that hit fixing the hail damaged cars from an earlier storm. He can't fix any hit with that size though. He was grateful he wasn't in that part of town when it came through.

Back in 2006, I had a car that was totalled in a hail storm. The dents would have required a new roof to be installed as well as new lights all around and new fenders and hood. No glass though. It came out to something in the neighborhood of 8000 dollars in damage on a car that was worth 6. I still owed on the car and the storm got me out of that note. I know first hand how bad hail can get.

Today it started hailing at work near bartlett. All I could think about was my truck. I hope it didnt get too damaged.

Only got pea size at my work place today.
