Anyone read Enemies Foreign Trilogy by Matthew Bracken?

It called the Enemies Foreign Trilogy. I picked up a set at a gun show last month. I have read several books along these line but this one probably my favorite. The story just gets better and better with each book. I was surprised to find that the action all comes to a head in the west Tennessee area. If you haven't ever considered what Memphis would be like during SHTF, this might be a little to close for comfort.

The author left no stone unturned. Great book set! I consider this a must read if you think things in this country could take (or has taken) a turn for the worse.

Too much extremism for my taste, but some interesting chapters in the first book. The second book was awful, IMO. I haven't seen the third.

I thought the first book had some slow parts for sure. Just figured it was his first and he hadn't refined his writing style yet. The second was better than the first, IMHO. But the third, that one was clearly the best, none of the filler that was in the first two. All action and seemingly more realistic than the first two. Yet, I am not sure one could truly appreciate the the third without reading the first two. Either way, I really enjoyed the set as a whole. With today's extreme left rising to prowess the way they are, it probably wouldn't hurt some of us to add some extreme reading to the repertoire.

I wanna read the Bracken trilogy. Right now the money's gotta go for other things, though. Maybe the library will get it soon... :)

I gotta finish Patriots by Rawles, anyhow. That's my TEOTWAWKI project for the moment. But I hope to read Bracken eventually.
