What to do in Lexington, TN?

Recommended Posts

So next week, I'll be spening Sunday night thru Friday in Lexington, TN for a school that the Lexington PD is hosting. I used to have close family friends there, but they've since died and I haven't been there in years.

What is there to do in Lexington? Any good places to eat? Any other attractions??

Had a girlfriend from Lex. (SPIT!) ((On her. Not Lex.)) You can harass her if you like. She teaches there.

I might be interested. I'm not 100% sure what "butch blonde" means, though...

Yeah, but I'll be out of town. I think that's ok. Hang on, let me consult my Tiger Woods Marriage Manual.

Found it. Page 86 in the "Faithfulness" chapter -

When one partner is located over 40 miles from the other, the marriage contract is temporarily non-binding and sexual encounters are encouraged...

If you boat or fish there is Beech Lake inside the city limits on Hwy 412. Just a few miles away is Natchez Trace State Park with boating and fishing, outdoor shooting range, and some good geocaching with hikes if you are into that.

You will be close to Parkers Crossroads (I40 and Hwy 22) with Civil War History. The Tn River is not far away and some of the marinas probably rent pontoon boats.

There is a great hike to Lady Finger Bluff wth a great view just across the river and north of Hwy 412. That is really worth the hike. If I could get a picture to post I would post one of the view from the top. You would not be disappointed if you decided to do this.

I see your subliminal code. "86" is short for death/kill. Appropriate.

boatman, I appreciate the ideas. The family friends I used to have up there lived in a nice house on Beech Lake. I was thinking about taking a fishing pole with me.

I might have to check out Parker's Crossroads. I love civil war stuff.

I grew up right outside Lexington. Not much going on there.

Scott's Barbecue is on the right on Hwy 412 as you come into town from the west. They're worth stopping at, if you like barbecue.
