I've run this exact same set-up more or less for the better part of the past year and it rules (recently switched to an all black set-up just for a thinner front really).

The set-up yields the best attributes of the popular Warren/Sevigny sight ratios, combined with the fast acquisition characteristics that something like Big Dots offer (only WAY better and more useable than the Big Dot's concept).

The .140 wide front can be a little wide out at 25 yards but will deliver head shots if you're up to it, COM is a non-issue though... and I DO sometimes miss how fast and easy it is to pick up that glowing orange on the front, for defensive sights that aren't gimmicky or just big dumb glowing night sights, I think they're the best set-up you can get really.

They didn't offer these sights as a set until just recently, seems Hackathorn and I are drinking the same kool-aid...

Here's a review I posted a while back: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/firearm-accessories/35969-pro-glo-sights.html

Cool, thanks CK! I remember your thread now. When you say you switched to an all black do you mean you've dropped the orange wrapped around the tritium? Does that make for a thinner front sight? I train for COM anyways. I will have to work on headshots. Those damn zombies aren't going to kill themselves.

I dropped the Pro Glo/Hachathorn's for now and went to the Ameriglo/Defoor Tactical set which is pretty much the same ratios in an overall thinner "window" (the rear is a .150 notch the front is .115 width). My biggest weakness shooting IDPA is targets at 25 yards, so the thinner picture helps in that area at the expense of some "real world" practicallity, but that said, stuff in closer like 10 yards or so I could run full speed through scoring all good hits with the Pro Glo/Hackathorn type set-up, for defensive pistol sights, that tritium/orange combo cannot be beat.

I'm going to pick up a G26 as a summer carry gun and I'm going to get a set for it for sure.

Use "defoor" at checkout at Ameriglo's site and it's 25% off (doesn't matter which sights you end up choosing, works with all). Cheers.
