Walther P22 recoil springs

I wanted to buy a couple replacement recoil springs, but was unable to find any on the innertubes.

I called S&W, asked for 2 and they sent them free of charge. The new springs were at my door in 4 days.

Thanks S&W for great customer support.

Good service.

When we get good service we seem to be suprised these days.

Why did you need to replace the springs?

The P22 comes with two springs. My gun, shooting Winchester Wildcat ammo cycles with either spring.

Have you seen any wear on your slide.

I saw a thread where someone was have a lot of wear. I dont have any noticable wear on mine.

I do have wear. Fun gun to shoot, but only average quality...at best.

Got my P22 in 04, when I first saw them, price was only $99.95 on sale at Mahooneys. Stopped round count at 10k. Need to replace recoil spring, .... but love to run failure drills with it. My other pistols are just too darn reliable! So I'll just leave it as is, never know when FTF or FTE, not constant. Makes for real and cheap training. JMO.
