My apps are constantly revolving but the few that ALWAYS remain are:

Ballistic: Field Tactical Edition - A ballistic Program

BulletFlt L1 - A ballistic Program

The Weather Channel - Obvious

Ebay Mobile - Obvious

iShoot Lite - A free cannon shooting game (Time Vampire)

Of the ballistic software this is my opinion

Ballistic FTE has a lot of variables you can input so you can tweak it. It definitely is the most comprehensive ballistic app out there. It allows you to update conditions using the phone, if you have service that is. If not you just input manually and you are good to go. For what you get Ballistic is a great value for the money.

On the other hand KAC's Bullet Flight light is very good for the $3.99 is costs. You are able to do everything with it you can with Ballistic except the tables. The HUD modes are almost identical so if that is all you are wanting then get the KAC version, especially the light version. You have to put in the environmental variables with the light version but that is fine because it is easy. It does have bullets that are loaded in the database with the correct drag, all you have to do is input your velocity and you should be good.

Ballistic also has information on individual bullets like drag and such. It also has the same type of info on loaded ammo including velocity. This information can be loaded and then a drop chart is displayed on the screen. If everything looks OK then you can save it and load it into the HUD that allows you to change distances on the fly, so to speak.

For the money I would choose KAC's Light version of Bullet Flight. The HUD's are almost identical and I think for most users it would work great. Ballistic has drop tables but those are easy to find online at places like JBM. KAC's Bullet Flight Light will probably work for 90% of the shooters/hunters out there.

Between the two I use Ballistic more than Bullet Flight. Mostly because I got it first and am used to it. I use Bullet Flight to confirm the calculations of Ballistic.

One more thing, if you are going to buy Ballistic buy the $19.99 version with all the bells and whistles. If you don't you will only be wanting it later, trust me.

Poplar and Mendenhall..... and yes they did! They must train them the same and guarantee free replacement of their phones. I saw a group the other day playing what appeared to be dice with their phones, was in a hurry but that was what they were showing a customer.

I looked them up, and a couple of blogers reviews were steller. The only criticism was the "ghost" like appearance on the screen protector but there are some techniques to help with that, not that big of a deal. One even said that if you are easy on your phone, don't get out in dust and don't drop it on occasion, this isn't the one for you! With me being outside, in the Jeep, fishing, etc...this was definitely the one for me. Not water proof though.

Most of the time a sales guy can't "sell" me anything, but the demonstration is quite impressive.

Punisher and kb4ns......screw you guys, I'm going home!
