Anybody seen one of these in person yet?

Although I'm pretty much over any urge for a polymer 9mm of any kind, I have to admit this one caught my eye.

( The hammer, manual safety, no rail under it's chin, and no idiotic flipper in the middle of it's trigger is probably what did it for me. And the fact it's not huge/chunky-looking. )

Oh, and don't bother "poo pooing" Taurus in general. I've had quite a number of 'em, both auto and revolver, and have never had any major problems with any of mine. I know some folks haven't been so lucky, but at least I have. :P

Anyway... are the 800s out there yet? What are they running, price-wise?

J.

I'm in the market for a compact/subcompact 9mm myself and have been taking a look at Taurus. I like the external hammer. Does the Taurus website have all of the specs? If it is close in size to the Millenium Pro I may wait for it to show up somewhere.
