The anchors do a lot more than that.

Try opening the door, then pull the lower rack out with a full load of dishes and see what happens if it's not anchored.

Copper is the best hookup, but never try to reuse a ferrule that has been compressed. Trying to save twenty cents can cost you a lot more. It can develop a small leak that will go undetected until it's too late, and you'll be replacing a floor.

Make sure your drain hose loops higher than the bottom of your sink to create an air gap to prevent backflow.

If you have a disposal, make sure the drain nipple is not partailly clogged.

"Varmint"

I made sure it looped way up, there was some wire that was used on the previous hose to hold it above the bottom of the sink. I cleaned out the drain nipple as well in the disposal...that was nasty.

We have a Kenmore with the "Smart" cycle. It's very slow... it'll run for a good 2 hours on a full load of dishes and it stops for a minute so several times during the cycle. I was concerned about it at first, but apparently that's normal.

Hmm, I shut it off, I was going to bed. I will go home at lunch, when I go to the Dent Doctor:rolleyes:, and run it, hopefully it will go through the whole cycle by the time I get home this evening, those are going to be some cclllleeeaaaannnnn dishes in there!

Regarding the capacitor, There are two wires, blue and yellow, coming from the motor and attach to this capacitor. I have the blue wire connected to the tab closest to the motor, the yellow on the furthest one. Does it matter which one? They are not labeled like a battery terminal or anything. They were not plugged in when I got it. The previous owners did not disconnect them on purpose anyway. It will run without them plugged in. I need to find an owners manual.

Man, this weekend sucked.

Cool, it is on the "drying" cycle.

You'll likely discover that the "drying" cycle is relative. If you put dishes, particularly anything plastic, in there in such a way that they can pool some water, they will not dry. We seem to have lots of dishware that pools water no matter how you orient it. I typically open the dishwasher during the "dry" cycle and pour the water out of all the cups, bowls, and such, then resume drying.

Got 4 kids, most of our stuff is plastic! LOL! The cups turn over and fill up with water all the time, sucks when you are not paying attention and you dump it on yourself.

Only thing left to do is check again for leaks. It has run through about 3 cycles for the most part, need to get back down there and check my water lines.
