Squirrel Hunting from a boat

Ok so back in louisiana we used to hunt squirrels from a boat drifting down the bayous. is this legal in TN? I know in LA the boat could not be powered by a motor while you are shooting.

When shooting ducks from a boat, the motor cannot be running. Dunno about squirrels.

I asked that same question, here is my answer." As long as the boat is not under power." If you are anchored or drifting you are fine. Be aware that if you exit the boat to retrieve a squirrel, you may be trespassing.
