Tongue registration

I am so sick & freakin tired of hearing that tired old hey “you cant yell fire in a crowded theater†B.S. that I can barely stand it! This in no way applies or compares to the second amendment. The only way this would remotely be comparable would be if we cut out people’s tongues as they entered the theater & then reattached them as they left. Of course only after they passed the proper background checks paid their tongue registration fees & took a class in the proper use of said body part! thoughts?

"Fire in a crowded theater" has nothing to do with the 2nd. It's all about the 1st amendment. :)

There is a reason Freedom of Speech is the 1st Amendment. It is higher in priority in the grand scheme of things.

Yep. You have to yell at 'em before you shoot 'em.

Fire in a crowded theater has nothing to do with the constitution.

Unless of coarse, that theater is owned by the government

I'm sure they will be soon, along with everything else.

And likely the original purpose of the 2nd is to secure the 1st.

Not mutually exclusive.

You have the right to freedom of speech. You do not have the right to endanger my life. The courts have dictated that. Yelling fire in a crowded theater would incite a riot also known as a mass exodus which could cause many people especially small children to get hurt.

You have the right to bare arms. You do not have a right to endanger my life by being stupid and waving a loaded firearm around with your bugger grabber on the bang switch. The courts have dictated that one also.

Yes - the framers of the Constitution saw to it that we as citizens have the right to say whatever we want even if it is against the government. They also saw to it that if the government ever tried to take away that right we would have the ability to defend it.

I don't know, I'm starting to think they should have classes for how people should use their toungue. If anything, it makes for a good pick up line. Female bartender asks for ID, Oh sure here ya go. Oops, sorry, that's my toungue certification license. Here's my ID.

so why can't women legally bare their boobies?

it is legal in some places , New Hampshire maybe?? but they cannot do it and be walking around. Have to be laying down or seated. IIRC

We should approve them to do so, but only after a committee review and granting the permit. A physical exam will be required.

The committee to consist of me, Chief (OhShoot), and...uhhh...me.

Awesome responsibility, but I would make that sacrifice for the good of the nation.

Will bare boobies be allowed in theaters at all times or only during a fire?

That’s it in a nutshell. But some people can’t grasp the concept. :stalk:

I think U guys maybe haven't heard the argument that I have, that the second amendment isn't without limits, then they bring up the theater B.S. like hey you cant carry your gun into the park because you might go batsh*t crazy & kill all the little "childrens" for no good reason. Ok so its illegal to shout fire in a theater - we don’t remove peoples tongues before they go in, removing the possibility that they could yell fire, even if the place was actually on fire! So its illegal to murder people for no good reason, don’t take my gun away, I might need it to protect myself or someone else!

What if the theater is not crowded?

Seriously. If me and two of my buddies are the only ones in the theater and one of them yells fire will he go to jail? I mean couldn't I just smack him upside the head and not involve the government?

Nope... The SWAT team would come in guns blazing to see who yelled it... With flashbangs...

The SWAT team from Detroit, too...
