I have to believe that how you OC and how you dress also plays a part in how people respond. If you carry on the belt in a leather or kydex holster, dress halfway professionally, are relatively clean cut, and don't have mega tattoos showing, people would be less inclined to see you as a threat. If, however, you look like you have been in the woods for a month, unshaven, dirty, and wearing tactical gear with a drop holster, then you shouldn't be surprised if someone calls the po-po.

As others have said, perfectly legal along as long as bank is not posted. It is one of the biggest misconceptions about carry laws, if not the biggest. It is very common.

Well, let's just say that I were in a bank and he came walking in OCing, with that look on his face, I'd finish my business quickly and head for the door.

well, lets see, I hadn't shaved in a few days so I was a little scruffy. I was wearing Khaki pants, a Tshirt that says "Land of the Free Because of the Brave", and have a tattoo on my left forearm that is written in Hebrew... I was thinking the writing on my Tshirt would have gotten me tagged as some nut case (with how people are today), but again, nobody even looked twice! i think it might just be that I walked in there like I knew what I was doing, smiled and was friendly, and didn't act nervous at all.

I CC in my Regions Bank here in the 'Boro all the time. No one ever notices or looks weird. I have a G23 with Supertuck at about 5 or 6 O'Clock. I, too, kinda feel like a (legal) rebel when I'm CC'ing into the bank. hehe.
