I don't know fully know the answer. I had a buddy that caught a ticket for carrying a loaded rifle in his truck during a draw hunt on federal land. It has not stopped him from buying several rifles. I do not know it if shows on a record check. It probably depends on what you did and what the ticket or arrest is written for.

If they get you poaching, thats bad. I would guess a poaching charge would stop you as that is (or can be) a felony.

it may help to give a little background on the part of the law you are concerned about...I think its pretty hard to determine if any part of that would stop the purchase of future guns...there may be certain "degrees" of guilt.

I hope whatever it is, it was not serious enough to prevent you from buying more guns...
