I lust for one, but there must be something wrong with my eyes.

I can't see myself paying that much for a knife.

I want one. Are double edged folders legal to carry in TN??

No, but they aren't double edged. They are "beveled" on the top and I'm guessing if you had to they could be sharpened for use.

My wife carried the Gerber Fairburn Applegate Combat Folder while on active duty. It looks a lot like the knife your inquiring about. She was pretty good with it too.

Double edged knives are perfectly legal to carry in TN, long as they are 4" blade or less.

"daggers" and "dirks" are specifically banned from school property only (but so is every other kind of knife).

I thought there was something about "daggers" type blades. Does that only apply to fixed blades or only over 4"?

Reread my post.

Only mentioned in weapons on school property statute, where all knives are banned anyway.

There is NO knife forbidden for general carry in TN except those over 4" blade and any switchblade.

I love all of mine. I have had about 5 (2 stolen, one lost)of these and have 2, one which is my daily carry knife.
