Hi there.

I am new to this forum, but have spent quite a few years on DC. I figured I should probably check out this forum to get more local info.

I'm a female, mid 20s. I am origionally from Michigan and moved to the tri cities area about 2 years ago. I started shooting in college after being introduced to the school's pistol club. Before I knew it I had a gun, a permit, and was the president of the club. I love shooting and although I don't dislike rifles, I shoot handguns by large majority. I have my HCP and find self defense to be not only a right, but a responsiblity that I have.

I really enjoy the 1911 platform, but certainly like others as well. My EDC is a Kimber Ultra Aegis II (3" 9mm 1911). I also love shooting my XD(m) 4.5" 9mm and my MKIII 22/45.

I am an engineer by trade and am married to a wonderful man and have 2 sweet 4-legged children- an austrilian shephard and a beagle.

In addition to firearms, I also enjoy sci fi, other nerd stuff, german (lived in germany for a year), animals, movies, and the outdoors in general.
