Gents & Ladies-

Ive discussed this with TGODAVID thru PM, about starting a forum devoted strickly to lights. Gun mounted lights, home lights, tactical lights like Surefire, HellFighter, EDC lights, yall get the picture.

TGODAVID says if enough of you show interest, he would consider it.

So, Im asking, what are yalls thoughts on this?

Lets here your opinions.:)

What about this one?

Even still, a separate forum would still be beneficial.

do you mean a whole new forum or just an addition like the recent "knives and bladed tools" either way I really like lights. I'm still giddy about by Stremlight TLR-3

Im sorry for not being clear. JUST an addition to TGO, like the new Knives and Bladed Tools addition.

Anxious to hear from more of you, so far so good!

I think it would be a fantastic addition to the forum. I've been meaning to talk to David about this as well as another idea that's been brewing in my head. You should make a poll for this.

I KNOW what you mean, craglawnmanor-

Here lately the bug has bitten me too. Ive always been a believer in having lights around. Lately tho, been looking into the high end stuff, and BAM! I got bit.

To everyone who thinks a Tactical Lighting forum would be a good idea, please let David know, as he wanted to make sure it would be a hit before doing it.

As for a poll....GREAT IDEA....I just, um, er, dont know how to do it.

That "watchmaker" guy has whored that thread/info all over the web.

While good info, I would say his reviews are about 3-5 years out of date, and do not include the latest and greatest in lighting options available today.

I would also add that his post has certain "motives" as he produces flashlights, and this post has been used on many forums in a passive sales capacity.

In regards to a separate forum for lights, I say NO.

I would say that it makes sense to add to the new Knives forum, since they both fall into the secondary weapons/"dont leave home without it" catagory.

I like the idea, I would put a light on my knife if I could, I put flashlights on everything. +1 for the new sub-forum.
